Ancillary events are held adjunct to ASCO meetings and symposia. Any organization (commercial or non-profit) that wishes to hold functions of any size or nature during the ASCO Annual Meeting must complete an Ancillary Event Request.

Ancillary Educational Event Premium Marketing
The deadline for this opportunity has passed.
ASCO will no longer be offering separate Independent Satellite Symposium (ISS) opportunities in 2013. Instead, if your organization will be sponsoring an accredited educational ancillary event, we will be offering the opportunity to purchase a Premium Marketing package that will dramatically increase your visibility with Annual Meeting attendees!
This package includes:
- Access to premium hotel ballrooms in VIP hotels in downtown Chicago
- Detailed information and premium placement in the Ancillary Event Directory
- One-time use of the Annual Meeting pre-registrant mailing list
- Sign in the ASCO meeting venue, located at ASCO’s discretion
- Use of a special ASCO disclaimer
ASCO is also providing the opportunity, for an additional fee, to have your event captured and posted on ASCO.org to further extend your reach to ASCO.org visitors.
Ancillary Event Marketing

Beginning in 2013, ASCO will be producing an Ancillary Events Directory that will be available to attendees that will include all events participating in Ancillary Event Marketing. If your event is of interest to the general Annual Meeting attendee, we encourage you to participate in this exciting marketing opportunity!
Your event information will be available for attendees in the following places:
- “QuickPrint” from the iPlanner website and mobile app
- Annual Meeting website at chicago2013.asco.org
- ASCO Daily News
- Sign in the ASCO meeting venue, located at ASCO’s discretion
